It is permanent, but most patients with this type of hearing loss will benefit from hearing aids. 90 percent of people in Santa Barbara are diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mixed hearing loss affects both the inner and middle\/outer ears.
